The Heide Christmas Market 2022

Shop local and enjoy some live music provided by Ting Lo Music at the Heide Christmas Market.
Enjoy an amazing market atmosphere with live music while shopping handmade from over 120 local makers and growers in the beautiful surrounds at Heide Market.
You can make a day of it with a picnic lunch and a visit to Heide Museum.

|Retro vintage jazz vibes with a fitting touch of infused dream pop. Drip Glaze features the luscious smooth vocals of Nakisa, a jazz singer trained in the bayous of outer haven. Pat’s precise drums and Sam’s bass keep the groove rolling on with Shay’s guitar layering the sugar and spice to complete your ecstatic intravenous journey that is Drip Glaze.

|Doncaster Music Ensemble (DME)
|Formed in 2022 by Ting Lo. The Doncaster Music Ensemble is a forum for music students of all instruments to socialise and enhance their ensemble skills. We rehearse once a week, and perform publicly at least 4 times a year. Join us if you know how to play an musical instrument and would like to play some music together.

|Natalie Poloni [Classical Guitarist]
|Natalie graduated this year from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music where she studied Classical guitar performance. She offers guitar lessons in Bulleen.
|Ting Lo & Ken Wei [Classical Guitar Duet]
|Ting is a music educator, ensemble director and event organiser from Hong Kong. He has completed a bachelor of Music and specialised in music education for his Master of Teaching degree. Under his guidance, many of his students are award winners in various muisc competitions and Eisteddfods in Australia and in Hong Kong. He has directed and conducted many ensembles from various public schools in Melbourne and founded the Doncaster Music Ensemble and the Hong Kong Virtual Guitar Ensemble. He has organised many music events to promote local musicians and to nurture future musicians.
|Ken Wei [Classical Guitarist]
|Ken is an Australian Chinese classical guitarist, he is also the visiting guitarist of Suzhou Symphony Orchestra, and editor of the magazine “Friends of Guitar” (Shanghai). He began to learn the guitar with Professor Dongqi Huang in Suzhou, China and later went to the University of Melbourne to study with Mr. Tonié Field and Professor Ken Murray. For his Master degree, he completed his research topic with Professor Ken Murry and Professor Michael Christoforidis about Spanish composer Manuel de Falla.
